The largest Buddhist temple in the world, a 9th century stone mandala you climb in a spiral, passing about 1,400 relief panels on the way to a summit of bell shaped stupas. Sunrise slots are limited and cost more. Worth it once, and the surrounding Java countryside is the underrated part.
